Increase Energy Levels
Regular physical activity is a great way to boost energy and improve mood. Current evidence clearly indicates that participation in a regular exercise program is an effective way to reduce and/or prevent a number of the functional declines associated with aging. The age related loss of muscle, often referred to as Sarcopenia, can affect daily living activities. Older adults have the ability to adapt and respond to both endurance and strength training.
Therefore an active lifestyle is more important now than ever. Regular exercise can help boost energy, maintain your independence, and manage symptoms of illness or pain. It can even reverse some of the symptoms of aging. So, offset the loss of muscle, increase your endurance, boost your mood and sharpen your memory with an exercise program that is comprehensive and effective!

We meet with every new member by appointment for the first three free sessions to fine tune the program to their specific needs and/or limitations. You will be in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. At our core, we are a medical exercise facility that cares about a positive outcome and a positive experience for you, our members!
Cardiovascular Fitness
Developed by Andy Baxter, MES, PRCS and Founder of Beyond 50 Fitness; our medically sound exercise program was originally designed in 1997 to work with knee and hip surgery patients. With endorsements from physical therapists, orthopedists and cardiologists to name a few, Baxter Fitness has grown to become a trusted, comprehensive, and effective fitness-building program for people over 50.
This program is considered the most innovative and flexible aerobic/strength circuit in existence. Bi-directional capability allows for improved motor skills and neuromuscular adaptation. This leads to increased endurance, strength, range of motion and reaction times; which helps with fall prevention. Our circuit is accessible and is appropriate for those with Multiple Sclerosis, Heart Disease, COPD, Parkinson's, and recovery from stroke.
